Bernard Lichtenstein MEE (Master in Electrical Engineering).
Mr. Lichtenstein did his undergraduate work at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn New York , and received his Master’s Degree at Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute. He spent many decades involved in cutting edge biomedical research, including non-invasive imaging technology (ultrasound and other blood analysis). Over the years, he has received multiple patents.
Mr. Lichtenstein focuses his work for our legal firm in medical and scientific analysis, and has been integral to the work of the firm in challenging the maternal forces of labor defense in brachial plexus cases.
Joseph Ciaccio joined the Law Offices Joseph Lichtenstein as an associate after graduating from Hofstra University School of Law. Since beginning his career, Joseph has focused on representing clients who have been the victims of medical malpractice. Since joining our firm, Joseph has handled all aspects of medical malpractice and personal injury cases, from initial meetings with clients through trying medical malpractice and personal injury cases to verdict or settlement. Throughout his career he has obtained significant experience in medical malpractice, product liability, auto accident, and other personal injury matters.
Since joining our office, Joseph has also been responsible in handling various pro bono matters. He is a member of several professional organizations including the New York State Trial Lawyer’s Association, New York Academy of Trial Lawyers, American Association of Justice, and the Nassau County Bar Association.

Sarail Graves is paralegal at the Law Offices of Joseph M. Lichtenstein and joined the firm in 2009. As a senior paralegal, Ms. Graves works diligently to support our legal team during every stage of the litigation process.
Ms. Graves primarily concentrates on complex medical malpractice and personal injury cases at the firm. Although she handles all aspects of cases, she is primarily involved in the trial phase of cases. Ms. Graves’ tasks involve assisting in trial preparation, traveling to Court and assisting in research, using trial director to organize and barcode documents and exhibits used at trial.
Magdalena Cox has had an interest in the field of law since she was a child and decided to begin her career as a paralegal in 2001. She graduated from LaGuardia Community College and earned her B.A. degree in Business Administration. She has also earned her paralegal certificate. Magdalena has been with our firm since 2011. She is a dedicated paralegal and bookkeeper with over 12 years of experience. She has handled various types of cases such as personal injury, family law and criminal law. Magdalena is also responsible for client billing, bank reconciliations, accounts receivables, account payables, payroll and staff support.
Marie Roper has been an employee of the Law offices of Joseph Lichtenstein since November 2000, working her way from a file clerk to calendar clerk/administrative assistant. Marie has 10+ years of experience as an administrative assistant.
